RCP - Alternative Dispute Resolution
Development of the RCP Project Platform, a complete document management system related to Alternative Dispute Resolution. The procedures were managed by the Italian Ministry of Economic Development (MiSE), through Invitalia. The solution encompassed all the components of the document management system (preparation, exchange, indexing, storage, security). A front-end portal was developed (user registration, authentication, document preparation, possibility to upload and verify digitally signed documents). Customized backoffice interfaces (based on Alfresco Share) were designed and implemented for activities managed by the non technical staff of the Agency.
CSES IS IN ORBIT!
On February 2 2018 the Zhangheng 1 or CSES satellite (China Seismo-Electromagnetic Satellite) has been launched from the base of Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center in Mongolia. CSES satellite is the outcome of the Italy-China cooperation and is equipped with the HEPD particle detector (High-Energy Particle Detector), designed and realizecd by the Italian researchers of the Limadou Collaboration and Arakne specialists. We collaborated in design and developmnet of the detector command and control software and we have been responsible for the delicate phases of system integration. The data collected by the satellite will make possible to study the correlations – both temporal and spatial - between seismic events and iono-magnetospheric perturbations and anomalous flux of particles from the internal Van Allen bands. This will possibly open up the perspective for future earthquakes predictions in the short and medium term.
EDI Project
Arakne has been selected to take part in the European Data Incubator (EDI), a 3-year project that offers around 100 startups the chance to solve data challenges set by major European corporates like Volkswagen Navarra, RACC motoring club and the multinational Sonae.
KEEP
Since 2016 we are the technology provider for the portal keep.eu, the knowledge base platform of aggregated information regarding projects and beneficiaries of European Union programmes dedicated to cross-border, transnational and interregional cooperation within the EU. The portal provides advanced search, data analytics and CMS functionalities, with a strong focus on data management. The platform is managed by the INTERACT programme. We collaborate with INTERACT for all the design, software implementation, workflow and UX realization activities.
